Grandparents Reading in National Storytelling Week

As part of our National Storytelling Week celebrations, we welcomed grandparents (and honorary grandparents) into school to read with their grandchildren. It was magical to witness the joy of storytelling spanning generations! 

"I like reading with my Grandad and sharing a story with my friend because he didn't have a grandparent" - Mikey

"I loved the time with my Grandma because we got to spend time together and my Grandma has loads of books" - Izzy

"I enjoyed it because I love reading" - Evie

"I liked it because my Grandad and Granny helped me read" - Isaac

"I loved it when my Grandparents came into my classroom" - Theo

"I liked it because I spent time with my Nanny and I got to read my favourite books" - Hallie
