We hope you find our website useful and you are all most welcome to visit our school to experience what we feel makes Herne View such a special place to learn and work!

We aim to reflect our core values of Care, Respect and Friendship in all we do, enabling inclusive opportunities for children to let their light shine. Our strong partnerships with organisations in Ilminster, especially the Church, allow us to forge lifelong links that help our pupils to develop key life skills, which sets them up for their futures. As a school we consider all children to be unique and we employ a child focused approach which ensures the potential of all children at Herne View is recognised, valued, celebrated and furthered. Our creative and diverse curriculum allows for progress in all areas of a child’s development.
