Herne View's Art within the local community

At Herne, we are proud to give our children regular opportunities to showcase their artistic talents beyond the classroom. Each year, our pupils take part in the annual art exhibitions at the local Arts Centre, where their creativity can be celebrated by families and the wider community and every other year we hold an art exhibition in the Arts Centre in The Meeting House where every child aged 2 to 11 has a piece of work on display.

Throughout the year, we also take pride in displaying children’s artwork in the local showcase window, allowing their achievements to be shared with everyone in the community. These experiences help our pupils develop confidence, feel valued, and understand how their artwork can bring joy to others.
