Remembrance

Herne View was proudly represented at the Civic Remembrance service last Sunday by Noah and Logan who laid a wreath on behalf of the school community. Both boys did a fabulous job and showed that our armed forces, past and present are very much thought about by Herne View.

On Tuesday, KS2 pupils joined the short service at the War Memorial at The Minster and then Year 6 held their own service at the war memorial at Ditton St where they remembered those ex pupils of the Board School who gave their lives in WW1. The pupils led the entire service and were joined by the Mayor of Ilminster, Cllr Brian Hamilton and his wife, who also laid a wreath and Joss Joslyn of the Royal British Legion.
